Basketball Game Preview: Wilson Creek Devils vs. Entiat Tigers

The Wilson Creek Devils will face off against the Entiat Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Wilson Creek's favor as the squad sits on nine straight wins at home while Entiat has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.

Last Friday, Wilson Creek was beaten by Waterville 60-17. While losing is never fun, the Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 277th, while the Shockers are ranked 72nd).

Meanwhile, Entiat got the win against Oroville on Tuesday by a conclusive 42-20.

Entiat is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-15 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.3 points. As for Wilson Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Wilson Creek didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Entiat in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 42-37 win. Will Wilson Creek repeat their success, or does Entiat have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
