The home team had won the previous three meetings between Brushton-Moira and St. Lawrence Central, and Brushton-Moira kept the tradition alive. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Larries on Monday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Larries recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Brushton-Moira saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Poirier, who went 3-for-4 with one triple and one double. Another was Logan Cross, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

The victory got Brushton-Moira back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Brushton-Moira will head out on the road to take on Parishville-Hopkinton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
