Baseball Recap: Schalmont Takes a Loss

Schalmont lost against Cohoes back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Sabres came up short against the Tigers, falling 9-2. The Sabres have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Schalmont saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Cleveland, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double. That double was Cleveland's first of the season.

Schalmont now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Cohoes, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Schalmont is set to square off against their familiar foe Mohonasen at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Cohoes will challenge rival Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
