Baseball Recap: North East Comes Up Short

North East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Elkton Golden Elks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Elks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 last Thursday.

North East's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Elkton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. North East is set to take on their familiar foe North Harford at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Elkton will challenge rival Edgewood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
