Basketball Recap: North Henderson Knights vs. Franklin Panthers
North Henderson lost against Franklin back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Henderson Knights fell 55-43 to the Franklin Panthers. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, North Henderson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brayden Hudson went 8 of 12 en route to 16 points and six boards. Hudson is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Cameron Case also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.
Leading Franklin to victory were Max McClure and William Rauers. McClure went 9 for 18 to rack up 26 points and three steals, while Rauers posted 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals. What's more, Rauers also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jack Jack Teesateskie, who scored eight points and three steals.
North Henderson's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
North Henderson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-41 loss against East Henderson on the 4th. As for Franklin, they have also already played their next matchup, an 88-57 win against Smoky Mountain on the 4th.
