Hale County snaps three-game streak of wins on the road

Recap: Hale County Wildcats vs. American Christian Academy Patriots

The Hale County Wildcats and the American Christian Academy Patriots squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Hale County Wildcats had to settle for second. They took a 64-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hale County in their matchups with American Christian Academy: they've now lost three in a row.

It was another big night for Eric Hines, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds for American Christian Academy. Justin Michael Allen was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

Hale County's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-9. As for American Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.

Hale County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for American Christian Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Prattville Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 10th. Hopefully American Christian Academy is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Alabama (they are ranked 86th, while Prattville Christian Academy is ranked 211th).
