Volleyball Recap: Waterloo East Comes Up Short

Waterloo East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Jefferson Hawks. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Hawks from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Waterloo East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waterloo East will host Marshalltown at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson, they will face off against Iowa City at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
