It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Warwick ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Phoebus Phantoms. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raiders have posted since March 27, 2025.

The win made it two in a row for Warwick and bumps their season record up to 5-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Phoebus, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Warwick will face off against Bayside at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Phoebus, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Churchland at 4:30 p.m. on the 13th.
