Basketball Recap: Wapello Takes a Loss

Wapello lost against Notre Dame back in January of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wapello Indians took a 48-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Notre Dame Nikes. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wapello's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Notre Dame, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.

Wapello didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 52-40 loss against Hillcrest Academy on the 21st. As for Notre Dame, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 75-27 defeat against Mediapolis on the 21st.
