Softball Recap: Eugene Eagles vs. Linn Wildcats
Eugene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 6-3 to the Linn Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 10-9 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Eugene's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Linn, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 19-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eugene will host Belle at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Linn, they will take on St. Francis Borgia at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Linn will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
