Basketball Recap: Lansdowne Comes Up Short

Lansdowne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Milford Mill Academy Millers, falling 72-33. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 60-30 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lansdowne's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Milford Mill Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Lansdowne will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Dundalk at 5:30 p.m. Lansdowne is facing Dundalk at the right time seeing as Dundalk is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Milford Mill Academy, they will square off against Towson at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Towson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Milford Mill Academy likes a good challenge.
