The Centennial Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the St. Cloud Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Centennial is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Wellington, sneaking past 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since March 25th.

Makayla Megnauth spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Serenity Robinson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.
Meanwhile, St. Cloud came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 8-3.
Addison Felblinger was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits (and not a single walk). Felblinger was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Madelis Reyes, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Zhyra De La Cruz, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
St. Cloud was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Centennial's record now sits at 9-13. As for St. Cloud, their record is now 18-10.
Centennial couldn't quite get it done against St. Cloud in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 3-0. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
