Softball Recap: Superior Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Superior entered their tilt with Kimberly on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Papermakers by a score of 8-5. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Papermakers, too.

Superior pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Kimberly, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6-1.

Superior didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-2 loss against Watertown on the 17th. As for Kimberly, they will square off against Oshkosh North at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
