Soccer Game Preview: Manatee vs. Bayshore

Manatee is 3-0 against Bayshore since December of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Manatee Hurricanes will look to defend their home pitch against the Bayshore Bruins at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Monday, Manatee didn't have quite enough to beat Cardinal Mooney and fell 3-2. While losing is never fun, the Hurricanes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 310th, while the Cougars are ranked 92nd).

Meanwhile, Bayshore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Admiral Farragut, falling 6-3.

Manatee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Bayshore, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1.

Manatee took their victory against Bayshore in their previous matchup back in November by a conclusive 8-0. Does Manatee have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bayshore turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
