Basketball Recap: Liberty Christian Comes Up Short

If Liberty Christian was riding high fresh off their 64-36 takedown of Parish Episcopal last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Liberty Christian Warriors took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nolan Catholic Vikings on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-25 back in November of 2024.

Liberty Christian dropped their record down to 7-22 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Nolan Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 19-13.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Trinity Christian the next time they take the court. Nolan Catholic will host Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Liberty Christian will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
