Volleyball Recap: Pflugerville Connally Takes a Loss

Pflugerville Connally was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Weiss Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-7, 25-10.

Aniya Toney paced Pflugerville Connally's offense, picking up eight kills. Toney got some help from Caroline Benge and her 12 assists.

Pflugerville Connally's defeat dropped their record down to 5-33. As for Weiss, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-8 record this season.

Pflugerville Connally does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Weiss, they will take on Bastrop at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
