Volleyball Recap: Mid Valley Takes a Loss

If Mid Valley was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hanover Area on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of MMI Preparatory School on Thursday. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as MMI Preparatory School apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 18-25, 25-11, 25-18.

Mid Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for MMI Preparatory School, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Mid Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Western Wayne on the 2nd. As for MMI Preparatory School, they will head out to square off against Pittston at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be MMI Preparatory School's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
