Soccer Recap: Pulaski County Comes Up Short

Pulaski County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Carroll County Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Carroll County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in March.

Pulaski County's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Carroll County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2-2.

Coming up, Pulaski County will head out on the road to take on Blacksburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pulaski County's defense better be ready for this one: Blacksburg have averaged an impressive 4.3 goals per game this season. As for Carroll County, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Galax at 7:00 p.m.
