Preview: Hill Country Christian Rams vs. Bracken Christian Warriors
Hill Country Christian has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on The Bracken Christian Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hill Country Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 242 points over their last four games.
Hill Country Christian pushed their score all the way to 42 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to The Christian School at Castle Hills 46-42.
Meanwhile, Bracken Christian took a serious blow against Heritage Christian on Friday, falling 48-6. While losing is never fun, Bracken Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while Heritage Christian is ranked 105th).
Cody Mccoy put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Hill Country Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Bracken Christian, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
Hill Country Christian took a serious blow against Bracken Christian in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, falling 67-20. Can Hill Country Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
