Basketball Recap: Mastery Charter North - Pickett Comes Up Short

Mastery Charter North - Pickett lost against Constitution back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mastery Charter North - Pickett Pumas received a blow as they fell 64-50 to the Constitution Generals. While losing is never fun, the Pumas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 412th, while the Generals are ranked 147th).

Despite the loss, Mastery Charter North - Pickett still got an impressive performance from Jacob Mitchell, who posted 19 points. Savion Staten was another key player, putting up eight points.

It was another big night for Alantay Dawson, who went 8 of 12 en route to 18 points for Constitution. The team also got some help courtesy of Khair White-Blaylock, who put up 16 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Mastery Charter North - Pickett and nudges their season record down to 6-10. As for Constitution, their record is now 9-7.

Mastery Charter North - Pickett didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-63 defeat against Simon Gratz on the 20th. Constitution has also already played their next matchup, a 59-42 victory against Overbrook on the 21st.
