Toms River North posted their closest win since May 7, 2024 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Toms River East Raiders, sneaking past 2-1. The Mariners haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Toms River North's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Toms River East, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
