Basketball Game Preview: Grayson Rams vs. Heritage Patriots

Grayson is a perfect 3-0 against Heritage since December of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Grayson has three straight wins, Heritage has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Grayson got the win against South Gwinnett by a conclusive 73-53. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Heritage's game on Tuesday was all tied up 30-30 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 62-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Gwinnett. While the Patriots didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Comets 18-14 in the first quarter.

Grayson's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Heritage, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Grayson got the 'W' when the teams last played back in December of 2025 against Heritage by a conclusive 73-51 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
