Soccer Game Preview: Prescott vs. Flagstaff

The Prescott Badgers will head out to face off against the Flagstaff Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Prescott is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Notre Dame Prep, who was ranked 25th at the time (Prescott was ranked sixth). Prescott fell just short of Notre Dame Prep by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The loss put an end to the Badgers' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Flagstaff after they claimed the first goal on Saturday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Mohave by a score of 2-1.

Having lost for the first time this season, Prescott fell to 6-1-1. As for Flagstaff, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 3-5-3.
