Volleyball Recap: South Fork Bulldogs vs. Legacy Lions
South Fork and Legacy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but South Fork had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 3-2.
Avery Eldred paced South Fork's offense, picking up 16 kills. Eldred got some help from Layali Ibrahim and her 33 assists. Ibrahim also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kensington Schulte, each putting up four.
Legacy found their leader in sophomore Paisley Woods, who had 21 digs and seven assists.
