Centreville waltzed into their contest on Thursday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 65-33 win over the South Lakes Seahawks. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Seahawks are ranked 197th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Centreville pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for South Lakes, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Centreville will head out to take on Chantilly at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chantilly will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Centreville surely won't give up without a fight. South Lakes has already played their next contest, a 50-38 defeat against James Madison on the 6th.
