Softball Recap: Center Point Takes a Loss

Center Point lost against Harper last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Center Point Pirates lost 23-4 to the Harper Longhorns. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grace Geurin was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.

Center Point now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Harper, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6-1.

Looking ahead, Center Point will face off against Junction at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Harper, they will challenge San Saba at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Harper will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
