Volleyball Recap: Covenant Classical Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Covenant Classical can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wylie Prep Academy Patriots on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.

Covenant Classical started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-22, 25-23, 32-30.

Covenant Classical's loss dropped their record down to 8-11-1. As for Wylie Prep Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-14-1.

As of now, neither Covenant Classical nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
