There's no place like home for Upperman, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Watertown Purple Tigers 3-0 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18, 25-14.

Presley Hickman paced Upperman's offense, picking up 13 kills. Hickman got some help from Emery Huddleston and her 33 assists. Hickman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Upperman is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Watertown, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Upperman is set to square off against their familiar foe Stone Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Watertown will challenge rival Cannon County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
