Sayre won the last time they faced Cowanesque Valley and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Sayre Redskins strolled past the Cowanesque Valley Indians with points to spare, taking the game 67-53. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redskins.

Sayre's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nick Pellicano led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 boards gave Pellicano a new career-high. Hudson Trump was another key player, putting up 12 points and eight rebounds.

Sayre smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in five consecutive matches.
