Football Recap: Cimarron-Memorial Comes Up Short

Cimarron-Memorial lost against Sunrise Mountain back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cimarron-Memorial Spartans had to suffer through a 34-6 loss at the hands of the Sunrise Mountain Miners. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cimarron-Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Sunrise Mountain, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cimarron-Memorial will host Chaparral at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sunrise Mountain, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Canyon Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunrise Mountain will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
