Like Kettle Run, Sherando also got a great game from a two-way player: Lilian Wray. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Wray has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Wray was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Santanna Puller was incredible, going 1-for-2 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI. Anna Borst was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Kettle Run's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Sherando, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Kettle Run has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9 hits per game. However, it's not like Sherando struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.6. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Kettle Run might still be hurting after the 9-3 loss they got from Sherando when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Thankfully for Kettle Run, Madison Harris (who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
