Basketball Recap: Suttons Bay Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Suttons Bay suffered their biggest loss since December 20, 2024 on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a 71-44 loss at the hands of the Bear Lake Lakers. The Norsemen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lakers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2018.

Grady Harless was nothing short of spectacular for Bear Lake: he shot 53% from the field en route to 27 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Harless' big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Myles Harless was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 23 boards.

Suttons Bay's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bear Lake, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Suttons Bay and Bear Lake will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Norsemen will take on rival Buckley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bear Lake is set to challenge their familiar foe Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
