Volleyball Recap: Carrollton Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carrollton can now relate to. They came up short against the Howland Tigers on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Warriors' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Carrollton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-22, 25-20.

Carrollton's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Howland, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season.

Carrollton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Howland, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against St. Vincent-St. Mary on the 15th.
