Basketball Recap: Grand Isle Comes Up Short

Grand Isle lost against Covenant Christian Academy back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Grand Isle Trojans had to suffer through a 58-4 loss at the hands of the Covenant Christian Academy Lions.

Grand Isle's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Covenant Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grand Isle will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Houma Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Covenant Christian Academy, they will face off against Central Lafourche at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
