Basketball Recap: Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Sets Scoring Season-High Against Kelliher/Northome

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Walker-Hackensack-Akeley). They blew past the Kelliher/Northome Mustangs 119-84 on Thursday. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 26 points or more this season.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, bringing their record for this year to 10-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.4 points. As for Kelliher/Northome, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

Walker-Hackensack-Akeley will challenge Cass Lake-Bena at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kelliher/Northome, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 97-96 win against North Woods on the 17th.
