Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whitmire). They blew past the South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets 75-5 on Tuesday. With the Wolverines ahead 44-2 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

It was another big night for Brooklynn Babb, who went 16 of 24 on her way to 32 points along with five assists and four steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Whitmire's points. Another player making a difference was Brantlee Roche, who posted nine points and seven assists.

Babb wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Whitmire was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's a new trend for Whitmire: they were averaging 0 assists per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 5.9.

Whitmire's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-14. As for South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
