Chiles had already won 26 in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it 27 on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Beachside Barracudas. That's more bragging rights for the Timberwolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win didn't come easy: Beachside scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 19-25, 25-20.

Chiles had a senior duo take command as Madison Joyner had 18 digs and seven assists and Natalie Gibson had 25 assists and eight digs. Gibson has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more assists the last 18 times she's played.

Chiles' victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Beachside, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.

Coming up, Chiles will venture away from home to square off against Leon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Beachside, they will welcome New Smyrna Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
