Volleyball Game Preview: Columbus Cardinals vs. Sealy Tigers

Columbus has won nine straight games at home, while Sealy has won nine straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Cardinals will welcome the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Friday, Columbus got the win against Edna by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Sealy challenged Harmony School of Innovation on Friday. The Tigers blew past the Wildcats 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-16.

Sealy's win bumped their record up to 26-11. As for Columbus, their victory bumped their record up to 36-4.

Columbus beat Sealy 2-0 when the teams last played back in August of 2023. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
