Football Recap: Paramus Takes a Loss

Paramus extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They took a blow against the Wayne Valley Indians, falling 34-0. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while the Indians are ranked 33rd).

As for Wayne Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The game marked their most dominant win of the season so far.

Wayne Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elizer Estevez, who rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns. Danny Ferrauilo was another key passer, throwing for 224 yards and one TD while completing 81% of his passes.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paramus will square off against NV - Old Tappan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Knights' defense has only allowed 14.8 points per game this season, so the Spartans' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Wayne Valley, they will face off against Hackensack at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
