Owyhee put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 66-37 victory over the Meridian Warriors. Given the Storm's advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Warriors are ranked 103rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Owyhee's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Riley Beck led the charge by going 7 of 10 en route to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Josie Davis, who posted nine points along with six steals and five assists.

Owyhee smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in November of 2023.

Owyhee's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Meridian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Owyhee will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Timberline at 5:30 p.m. on December 28th. Owyhee is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.6 points per game this season. Meridian will take on Ridgevue in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
