Basketball Recap: Kempsville Takes a Loss

After soaring to 55 points the game before, Kempsville was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 1-0 to the Salem Sundevils. The Chiefs just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Kempsville now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Salem, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-16.

Kempsville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Princess Anne on the 18th. Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
