Baseball Recap: Manti Comes Up Short

Manti and Ogden squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Manti had to settle for second. They lost 10-4 to the Tigers. The Templars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 10-6.

Manti saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adam Andreason, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

With the defeat, Manti broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-10. As for Ogden, their record now sits at 8-19.

While Manti had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
