Volleyball Game Preview: Mora Rangers/Rangerettes vs. Escalante Lobos

Mora hasn't had much luck against Escalante recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Rangers/Rangerettes will look to defend their home court against the Lobos at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Mora came up short against McCurdy and fell 3-1.

While Mora ultimately came up short, they really made McCurdy work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 26-24, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Escalante also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Mesa Vista by a score of 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 23-25, 25-16, 25-14.

Escalante's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Mora, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Mora skirted past Escalante 3-2 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Will the Rangers/Rangerettes repeat their success, or do the Lobos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
