Basketball Game Preview: Blair Bears vs. Harlan Cyclones

The Blair Bears just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Harlan Cyclones at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

On Thursday, Blair strolled past Crete with points to spare, taking the game 54-37.

Blair got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Addie Sullivan out in front who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Cadence Field, who put up 11 points.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Harlan beat Kuemper 63-57 on Monday.

Blair's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Harlan, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Blair might still be hurting after the 57-33 defeat they got from Harlan when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Blair avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
