Softball Recap: Owensboro Catholic Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Owensboro Catholic's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Daviess County Panthers on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Aces in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Owensboro Catholic's record is now 5-8. As for Daviess County, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Owensboro Catholic will host Madisonville-North Hopkins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Daviess County, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Castle at 5:30 p.m.
