Volleyball Recap: Colonel Crawford Triumphs

Colonel Crawford's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Upper Sandusky Rams by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 22-25, 25-11, 25-21.

Colonel Crawford found their leader in sophomore Sophia Gray, who had 23 digs and seven aces. Those seven aces set a new season-high mark for Gray.

Colonel Crawford was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August of 2024.

Colonel Crawford's record now sits at 7-2. As for Upper Sandusky, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Colonel Crawford has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Ashland on the 6th. Upper Sandusky has also already played their next game (against Ridgedale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
