Basketball Recap: Columbia Adventist Academy Kodiaks vs. Oakville Acorns

The Columbia Adventist Academy Kodiaks took a 62-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oakville Acorns. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Siufanua has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Boyd, who posted five points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Columbia Adventist Academy's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-5. As for Oakville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

After both having extra time off, Columbia Adventist Academy and Mary M. Knight will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Mary M. Knight will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Columbia Adventist Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oakville, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Crescent at 2:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
