Recap: Heritage Hawks vs. KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors
The Heritage Hawks had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They blew past KIPP Atlanta Collegiate 62-42. The result was nothing new for Heritage, who have now won four matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mason Robert bolinger, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. The contest was Robert bolinger's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Sam Mead was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 9 rebounds.
Heritage's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
Heritage will face off against Ware County at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Business Engineering Science Tech at 7:00 p.m. Business Engineering Science Tech comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
