Basketball Game Preview: Florence/Henry Falcons vs. Langford Lions

The Florence/Henry Falcons will take on the Langford Lions at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Florence/Henry has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three matchups.

Last Thursday, Florence/Henry earned a 56-49 victory over Britton-Hecla. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by exactly seven points.

Meanwhile, Langford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 50-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Warner.

Florence/Henry will need focus on slowing down Kassen Keough, one of several Langford players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 20 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rennan Bruns, who went 5 of 9 en route to 13 points.

Florence/Henry is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Langford, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
