Baseball Recap: Centaurus Comes Up Short

Centaurus lost against Fairview back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors came up short against the Knights, falling 15-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Centaurus saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Mason, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Centaurus' loss dropped their record down to 9-12-1. As for Fairview, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Centaurus will face off against rival Monarch at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Fairview is set to take on their familiar foe Horizon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
